Highlights:

The highlights of Participatory Watershed Management Project( PWMP)  which already stands  submitted to Govt,. of India  are depicted as under:-

• Phase III of the project is titled as Participatory Watershed Management Project. 
• The Project was appraised by the World Bank in May, 2008 and agreed to negotiate.
• Project is awaiting government of Jammu and Kashmir sanction for establishing society (JKWMS) and orders for negotiation.
• The Documents as pre requisite for appraisal/ negotiation have been completed and agreed by the World Bank.

Project Components:

1. Creation of awareness.
2. Wetland Conservation and Management.
